Tomasz Kolodziey was born in Lublin, Poland on August 27, 1962.
Tom studied the music at the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw,
Poland before moving to the U.S. where he attended the University
of Indiana School of Music, Roosevelt University in Chicago and
Florida State University. Tom spoke five languages and earned
three Master’s Degrees (two in music and one in Informational Technology.)
Tom has been active as a violinist and violist performing with the
West Coast Symphony, The Tampa Opera (served as principal violist),
The Orchestre Symphonique Francais, The Venice Little Theatre
(Fiddler on the Roof), many touring Broadway shows and Ensemble Lyrique – a quartet
in which he performed with his wife, Susan, in southwest Florida.
He is mourned and remembered by friends and musicians in our community.
His kind heart, his love for music, and his beautiful violin playing will be missed.
